Headwind is everything that must be overcome. What do we need when things get tough?

The successful collaboration between de Stilte and the Artvark Saxophone Quartet with the production Bosch in Bed continues with the performance Tegenwind.

Based on the full album Mother of Thousand by Artvark, Jack Timmermans created thirteen sketches for as many musical pieces. Thirteen individual pieces of music and dance come together in a changing set of glass curtains and chairs.

The stage evokes a bygone era and seems to reference terraces, squares, and similar places where people gather. Inspired by the live music, four dancers come into contact with each other.
