Betovering-buiten: pop-up festival 4+

This year, we’re traveling through gardens and squares in Escamp, Schilderswijk, and Laak with a spectacular pop-up festival. There’s something fun for all ages: you can join in, watch, and listen! Drop by one of the festive locations. Admission is free!

Program for Betovering-Buiten:
The Belgian groups Compagnie Krak and Cirq will visit the inner courtyards. Compagnie Krak will perform the humorous show Kontrol. Cirq will ask children about their dreams for the future and create small artworks on the spot based on those dreams. There’s also the Paintball Atelier, where you can make your own artwork using paintballs. Plus, there will be many other activities, workshops, and music at all locations.

Betovering-Buiten is organized in collaboration with housing associations Staedion and Haag Wonen. Thanks to their financial support and providing the locations, the festival is free for all children in the neighborhood. Four days, at four different locations! De Betovering hopes to expand this project to more neighborhoods in The Hague in the coming years, giving even more children the opportunity to experience theater and art up close.
